GEOGRAPHIA pays tribute to the richness of Portuguese gastronomy, namely its global character. In fact, Portuguese cuisine was one of the first fusion cuisines, a product of the influences that the Portuguese brought from the “worlds”. In the same way, the cuisine of the Portuguese-speaking countries’ (Timor-Leste, Goa, Mozambique, Angola, São Tomé and Príncipe, Cape Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Brazil) was also influenced by Portuguese cuisine, with dishes that blend local traditions and ingredients with those the Portuguese left there.
The restaurant offers an experience of service, ambience and décor that brings to our days the magical world of discovery travel, whether the trips of bygone eras or those that we do or dream of doing today.
Geographia it’s at the intersection of three of Lisbon’s most traditional and charming districts: Lapa, Janelas Verdes and Santos. Here, in the square that we share with the National Museum of Ancient Art, one breathes tranquility and a genuine and small village like atmosphere that Lisbon still offers to those who want to discover its hidden secrets.
